I Came across this on FB and found the blog post from Pinkyreg.wordpress.com! I was like.. ohh korean coffee shop? in eastwood? say what? In Philippines? then me thinks ..uhmm who among the kpop parents bringing this cafe shop in the Philippines? (Well, If you are a kpop fan, You’ll be aware of the fact that many coffee house have sprouted in Seoul and the owners are the kpop omma”s and Appa’s..one which is very famous is Super Junior’s Yesung Handel and Gretel, Miss A’s Suzy’s parents –Caffe 秀Soo, Super Junior’s Leetuek, Kyuhyun, Sungmin’s Kona Beans and many more..)

This has sparked my curiosity and did a lil search about it.Caffe Bene is everywhere in Seoul!! Caffe Bene is a leading coffee label of Korea. It is a trend-setting multi-cultural space that offers an ideal combination of coffee, waffle, and gelato. Here, visitors can enjoy general blended coffee using select coffee beans or top-of-class single origin coffee for customers’ individual liking. C.N.A. stands for Culture Nature Art. CNA in korea has opened over a 100 stores that mainly specializes on selling of fashion accessories. Incases of C.N.A. PH,  the shop just not offers accessories but also features a mix selections of items from cosmetics to kpop fan merchandises.

BB creams, perfumes, facial mask and more.

CNA is something for everyone, All ages and All genders ^_^

Sexy Free And Single Full MV | Still images-screen caps | Press Conference [Vid]

I am pretty sure that the million adoring fans world wide of  The Super Junior has definitely set their moods to…BINGO! ^  Today, July 3 11am KST,  with Not more than an hour after their 6th jib Press conference, On the official YouTube channel of SM entertainment, the full Music Video for The Sexy Free and Single already received and continues on receiving mixed reviews from  the “Loyal Fans” the “Neutrals” and even the “antis/fans”.
My personal point of view as a Fan and a new  ELF, (If i may say ).  There is nothing  grand on the music video itself.  No highly budgeted location shoot, No beaming lights, Less make-up and costume styles.
But wait up!!! Before you all cast your curses on me. Let me tell you this!!!! AHSJHSGJGJKGJFHGJG!!! I EFFIN FREAKING WOWED AND LOVED THE MV! WHO CARES IF THE BOYS ARE JUST DANCING AGAIN ON A BOX?!?!?! THEY DON’T NEED TO GO SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW TO SHOOT THE MV. NO NEED FOR A NICE PAIR OF SHOES AND SHIRTS too! damn siwon’s & teukie’s  SHOW YOUR NIPPLES outfit and damn the recycled shoes and shirts from ShinEE’s and Exo’s MV’s… FOR THE HELL I,WE CARE?! As long as SJ  is there WE accept and appreciate! (but just a thought..SMENT!? are you running out of budget?!) ^^
Seriously, It doesn’t need to be that epic kind of MV. They need not to IMPRESS  to gain more views on you tube or increase more their popularity. Then again, Yes!  A more epic music video concept is a plus factor though! But for A loyal and appreciative  fans at the moment can appreciate & accepts SJ’s on the things that they can ONLY do and  can not do. BEHIND EVERY SUPER JUNIOR’S SUCCESS ARE the “ELFs”  Not just with Super Junior, This goes to all kpop groups as well. Every success of your idol/s depends on the level and amount of love and support you intend to give them.
As Leeutek said at the Press-con  LEE TEUK: “I want to say that Super Junior is a success. It’s not a success because it reached a certain status, but because it’s working with great members and staff. Success is happiness. They said that if you still want many things you’re still poor, and if you don’t want much you’re rich. There are so many great people around us and we don’t want much, so we’re successful. I think our first single cut [Sexy, Free & Single] fits us from that aspect.”
He added, “I believe that Super Junior needs to pioneer new roads in the future. I hope we’ll become an idol that’s loved across the nation for a long time. They say that a war of the stars is going on these days, and that’s great. I believe K-Pop will become even more successful in the world. Please show us your support.”
Read between the lines again and feel it lol.  Exactly what i’m trying to say!  – LT: There are so many great people around us and we don’t want much, so we’re successful.
We are lucky (yes! including me^^)  to be able to see them (10members) in their 6th with Kangin and before Leetuek  military enlistment. Let’s take this as a gift!
And to those who can’t stand their comeback album…It’s simple.. Don’t watch nor listen. Waste of time! Chill!  It’s either Love it or Leave it! Just Don’t watch coz ONLY the SEXY FREE AND SINGLE can appreciate it! trolololololo! kiddin’ Peace everyone!
Enough of my looong blabber on with the screen caps and video links.

Lee Min Jung “I’m not beautiful.”

That was actress Lee Min Jung’s response to a comment that beautiful women tend to be really competitive on a past episode of SBS’ Running Man. And while we’re all for modesty, we’re also a little puzzled as to why, then, the star of upcoming drama Big posts so many fresh-faced selcas of herself. Suzy What about singer and fellow Big star Suzy’s appearance causes her the most stress? “It’s precisely my small forehead. I’m concerned because my forehead is too small,” said the miss A member and star of upcoming drama Big. Just don’t let Hyolyn hear you, Suzy. Taeyeon We all have our fair share of weird insecurities, but when it comes to absurd complexes, Girls’ Generation and Taetiseo member Taeyeon takes the cake. Ladies, you know how small you feel after a bad haircut or when a pimple decides to perform a one-man show on your forehead? Well, don’t stare at Taeyeon’s pinky toefor too long, because that’s what makes her feel insecure. Why? According to the singer, “It sticks out to the side.” Excuse us while we adjust our pinky toe so it doesn’t stick out either, because now you′ve got us all self-concious.

Mnet’s Wide entertainment news on  on ludicrous remarks celebrities have made in the past and read what other celebs, like IU and Gong Yoo, have said recently that had us sighing out of exasperation.

My story with KSTORY’s ceo: Bruce Youn

Yesterday,we had a fun meet up with Mr. Bruce Youn of KSTORY.  With the blogs  that i have been reading along , they describe the store as  a One-stop-shop for every Kpop fans: fangirls and Fan boys alike. 🙂 On June 12,  Mr.Bruce arrived in Manila for the Premiere night of Kimmy Dora 2. The movie is a comedy film starring the Filipina TV actress/producer Eugene Domingo. Bruce has a cameo role in that movie. Moving on with the fun meet up i mentioned earlier on this post, we had a chance on seeing the Man behind the KSTORY at UCC park cafe in Makati. Since my place is just  near the area so I decided to drop by and tag  along a friend with me. Before going to the meeting place, we bought some simple knickknacks  at Kultura  (SM) for Bruce and Mr. Kang, a little something for Heechul and Heechul sister’s Heejin ( which i believe is also the co-owner of Kstory). As we approach the cafe, I saw  a very tall  guy! LOL. Bruce was all smiles and greeted  everyone HI *bow* So we gave him the gifts. I handed him the clear plastic bags from kultura, I said this one is for you blah blah and asked a favor if  He could  give the other gift for a Friend who is now in Korea. (Danes who is now in Korea taking up her master’s Degree and which i really consider an Angel in Disguise kind of friend ^^ long story.. let’s not go further)… She is one of  Bruce’s closest Filipina friend in Korea right now.  ^^ I forgot to take photo of the gift… It’s a trinket from Tickles.. Anyways… There I saw the bunch of cd’s and shirt and all the suff He brought from Kstory. Items prices  is surprisingly not expensive as i thought it would be.  Bruce gave the Fangirls Huge discount and guess whaaaattt! He even gave some of  it for FREE! It’s like you want it, then alright TAKE IT! No joke! One Fangirl was like asking for the price or i think she badly wanted to have the Shinee’s clear folder and then the  next thing i heard from Bruce was OK! TAKE IT! Whoaaahhh! Just like that?! ^^ Honestly, I had no plans of buying some cds… I’m a new Suju Fan and never owned a physical copy of their album. The recently first ever SJ stuff that i had was actually given by my Malaysian Friend. Bottom line, I still bought that SJ Cd and got it for such a very reasonable price.  He even said that since I am a friend of Dane’s that’s why he is giving me a discount! LOL thank You sooo much Danes! 🙂 He was funny when he handed me the KSTORY stickers. He said take this. and i was like thank you, too much already. Other freebies that we all got from him are V line pack and Kstory coupons (Which of course we can only use when in Korea) ^^   While everyone was busy spazzing with the kpop items left on the table. I grab the chance to interview him! lol I it was just a quick conversation before we left the place. The  first and commonly asked questions to a “tourists” lol How was your stay so Far?  He said It was great and He is enjoying his stay. One ELF join the conversation and said so Oppa “It’s more fun in the Philippines” LOL!!! nice one! The next question i asked; “since now,  Kstory branches out to Thailand, What will be the next country or any plans on bringing Kstory in Manila?”  He answered and said, Bringing or opening Kstory here (Manila)  is not a problem. The place is not a problem. I just need someone who will manage the store” My follow-up question. So who managed the store in Thailand? He quickly answered.: *Pointing to himself* ME! ^^  He said He goes back and forth to check whats going with the store and such. Wow that’s tiring! A very dedicated ceo LOL.  He also shared that he is encountering difficulty in language barrier. Well I understand what Bruce is trying to point out, sometimes the Language Barrier is a common challenge on cross boarding business settings. We even talked about Ate Gigi of Fangirlasia and Ms. Kring of C.N.A. both are  business minded chick who came up with the idea of putting up a  Fandom store in one! Fangirlasia is Webstore whereas C.N.A. is a physical store that recently opened a few months. You might asked what’s the connection? lol sorry, that just came out of my mind since they already met in Korea! So been thinking if they can do some tie-up in bringing KSTORY in Manila. Anyway………. I even asked if He is a “Christian” He said; Oh yes I am. since birth I am a born again christian. My father is a Christian. I failed to ask about the role He portrayed in Kimmy Dora and how was it working with Filipino artist… Hmmm next time i run into him I will definitely ask for more questions.. Hehe.. the question is WHEEEEEN?!?!? ^^ Alright, enough with my blubber..on with some photo sharing…..by the way Bruce loves to photo-op. Whenever someone will ask to take photos with Him, He also  hand over his phone to the person taking Pictures. ^^ If You were to ask me how is  Bruce in General… Uhmm aside from He is super duper TALL! lol I know from there he is a super sincere person? not because He gave away a lot of freebies lol.. But seriously though. When we left, he even walked  us towards the end of the cafe’ shop and still keep on talking with us and said; THANK YOU FOR COMING! SALAMAT! ^^

5 Ways to Make Sweet Music for Your Business

Re-posting this article from Yahoo via Entrepreneur.com

One day, If ever I’ll be opening a physical store for my online shop. My playlist will be …KPOP SONGS! 🙂

Read on Entrreps! ^^

Corrections & Amplifications

If you’ve ever walked into a retail store and wondered why certain music is playing, there may, in fact, be some rhyme and reason to the selection.

Research has shown that consumers shop longer and make more purchases when they’re exposed to music. You can use music to make your store so appealing people may want to return — even if they don’t have any buying plans. “We’re often told that because of our atmosphere, customers come into our shop on days when they need a pick-me-up or to simply relax and recharge,” says Ann O’Shields, owner of The Nest Egg, a home-furnishings shop in Fairfax, Va. “We play upbeat music and enjoy seeing our customers singing along as they shop.”

Of course, it’s important to make the right musical match with your target customers. For instance, if you’re selling upscale products, the best choice is probably classical or jazz.

In addition, music can help engage employees. “Ongoing research shows that music can boost performance in the workplace by reducing employee stress and depression, improving employee retention and saving companies significant amount of money,” says Joe Lamond, president and CEO of the National Association of Music Merchants, a music industry nonprofit in Carlsbad, Calif.

Here are five tips to help you choose the right kind of music for your customers and employees:

1. Keep the melody in the background. Consider music an ambience enhancer, not the focal point of the mood you’re trying to create. “Customers shouldn’t really be aware of the music you’re playing,” says Kurt Mortensen, an expert on motivational psychology and author of Persuasion IQ. (AMACOM, 2008) “The music shouldn’t be overpowering. Rather it should be merely an atmospheric presence.”

2. Strike a balance between soft and loud. You want to keep your store’s music at the right volume so you don’t risk driving them away. Some youth-oriented stores like Abercrombie & Fitch turn the volume quite high, but most stores should aim for moderation. “Loud music can be a major deterrent specifically if the retailer is targeting a demographic older than 25,” says Patricia Norins, a specialty retail expert and publisher of Gift Shop magazine. “A softly played, lively and upbeat tune can put shoppers at ease and create an environment that’s warm and fun.” On the other hand, don’t keep the music too low. “Our shoppers are mostly women and they’ll come in with a friend,” O’Shields says. “We know they don’t want people to hear their conversations so music is a great buffer.”

3. Don’t get too lively. Beat matters as much as volume. The faster the store music is, for example, the more people may feel stressed about how long they’ve been waiting on line. “To some extent, slower-paced music may make people feel calmer, and they may spend more time in your store,” says Lars Perner, assistant professor of clinical marketing at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

4. Rethink your hold music. When you put customers on hold, the last thing you want to do is make them wait silently or force them to listen to cloying music. When Ian Aronovich, cofounder of GovernmentAuctions.org, a website about government auctions of merchandise, realized he was losing people after just two minutes spent on silent hold, he knew he had to find a way to keep them on the line longer. “We spent $230 on a hold-music machine and noticed an immediate change,” he says. “We discovered that people actually waited for us to get on the phone. Turns out, they really like the music we play.”

5. Make music a motivator. If your goal is to motivate and energize employees, you may get the best results by personalizing the music and using it to recognize their achievements. At Cardinal Web Solutions, an Internet marketing agency in Atlanta, each of the 10 employees has a designated favorite song. When one of them closes a sale or comes up with an innovative idea, that person’s song is played for all the staff to hear. “This idea came about organically,” says cofounder Alex Membrillo. “We’re all under 30, we all listen to a lot of music and we use music to break up the day. When someone comes up with something great, we play their song. It gets people up on their feet and, instead of reenergizing on Facebook, they dance around and, inevitably, more ideas come to the table.”

BE HAPPY EVEN IF THINGS AREN’T PERFECT NOW

A feel good article I found over the net! This is my current state… So ima share this to all and just hit that share button if you feel the same way too! 🙂

1. Enjoying the present moment is a habit that takes practice. If you always look toward tomorrow for happiness, odds are you will do the same when you attain what you’ve been dreaming of. As strange it sounds, the ability to appreciate what’s in front of you has nothing to do with what you actually have. It’s more about how you measure the good things in your life at any given time.

Practice wanting what you have and it will feel even sweeter when you eventually have what you want. Look around—what’s in front of you that can enjoy?

2. Finding reasons to be happy now can benefit your future. Dr. Dacher Keltner of the University of California claims she can predict a person’s future by judging the strength of their smile. Researchers examined yearbook photos of 111 female students taken between 1958 and 1960. Subsequent tests revealed that the women who expressed more positive emotion in those photos became more mentally focused, had more successful marriages, and enjoyed a greater sense of well-being.

From the article:

“While positive emotion tends to broaden thought, negative emotion tends to narrow it and hold back development….The findings of Dr Keltner and his colleagues, published in theJournal of Personality and Social Psychology, are among the first to show that differences in the extent to which people express emotion may be stable throughout their lives and dictate personal and social success.”

3. Tuning into joy can improve your health, something that affords you many possibilities in life. Something that most people take for granted until it’s compromised.

Christopher Peterson, Ph.D of the University of Michigan—who has studied optimism’s link to health for over 20 years—shows optimistic people have a stronger immune system than their negative counterparts. This may be due to their tendency to take better care of themselves. Choose to be happy now and you’ll have more days of good health to enjoy.

4. Consistent, long-term happiness depends on your ability to notice and appreciate the details; you can hone that skill right now. Once you get everything you want, you will still be subject to life’s highs and lows. If you haven’t learned to enjoy the little things, your well-being will parallel your life’s circumstances. Every time something goes wrong, you’ll feel deeply unhappy (as opposed to disappointed but determined to make the best of things).

Think about the things that fill you with the most joy—spending time with your pets, listening to the rain, and running on the beach, for example. Focus on those things right now, and let them brighten your day. That way, no matter what changes, you’ll have a variety of simple pleasures to help you through.

5. Every day is a new opportunity to be better than yesterday; that pursuit can increase your self esteem and, accordingly, your happiness. I used to be obsessed with being perfect. If I wasn’t the best at something, I couldn’t sleep at night. Becoming great never felt as good as I imagined it would because there was always room to be better. I was constantly dissatisfied and disappointed in myself.

I now look at the things I do as opportunities to get better from one day to the next. It’s more satisfying to set and meet an attainable goal, like focusing better and writing an extra article tomorrow, than it is to obsess about perfection, stressing because I’m not a world-famous author.

By focusing on small improvements and mini-goals, you’ll naturally move yourself toward your larger dreams. And you’ll respect the way you’re doing things.

6. You can be who you want to be right now, no matter what your situation looks like. You may think life needs to change dramatically for you to be the person you want to be. That you can’t be giving unless you make more money. Or you can’t be adventurous until you sell your house. The truth is you can be those things at any point in time.

So you don’t have money to share. Be generous with your compassion, and listen when your friends have problems. So your house hasn’t sold, pinning you in one place. Create adventure in your day by trying new things and introducing yourself to new people.

You never know when your nows will run out—so ask yourself, “How can I be that person I want to be in this moment?”

7. Finding joy in the present moment—no matter how inadequate it may seem—makes a difference in other people’s lives. Though we all have different lists of dreams and goals, for most of us this is at the forefront : the possibility of living a meaningful life that affects other people for the better.

Happiness is a moment-to-moment choice, one that many have a hard time making. Other people will notice if you make that choice. And you will motivate them to do the same. As the research above indicates, this motivation has a substantial impact on their health and future happiness.

I know this isn’t your usual reasons-to-be-happy post. It didn’t start or end with “count your blessings” and I didn’t delve into your relationships or good fortune. There’s a very good reason for that.

I don’t think happiness is so much about what you have. What you have changes; your “blessings” evolve. Happiness is about how you interpret what’s in front of you. How proud you are of the way you live your life. How willing you are to enjoy simple pleasures, even if things aren’t perfect.

Though I have’t always done this well, today I choose to focus on the good—both in the world and myself—to feel happy right now. How will you tune into happiness today?
